The new eye-catcher in the kitchen!

With its almost black appearance, reminiscent of teak wood (not sustainable), a new eye-catcher is created.

The dark color is created by a heating process in which the wood is heated at 160-220 degrees under exclusion of oxygen. This causes the wood to change color permanently and is not washable - as one might think.

Despite this, ash is a very hard wood and is often used for broom handles. This speaks for the robustness of this wood and makes it excellent for use as a cutting board, but also as a breakfast board (with a wow effect).
